Brief Introduction of Environmental Science Research & Design Institute

Founded in 1977, Environmental Science Research & Design Institute of Zhejiang Province(ESRDI), located in Hangzhou, is the only comprehensive environmental professional state-run institute in Zhejiang province. There are about 250 employees in institute, 90% of which are technologists in different fields. After more than 25 years' effort, ESRDI has become one of the first class provincal level institutes in China, and it has developed a good relationship with the government and Zhejiang Environmental Protection Bureau.

ESRDI has operation departments such as environmental engineering department, investment and development, ‘environmental pollution and protection' press, environmental engineering experiment center, environmental impact assessment center, environmental certification center of zhejiang province, audit center, information service department, cleaner production center and analytical laboratory and so on.
